Hi, I decided to write you regarding the KGE3000TI Generator I purchased 03/27/2007. I had only used it a few times and had less than 20 hours on it when Hurricane Ike hit Houston Texas on 09/11/2008 leaving my family without power so I pulled out my Kipor and plugged into my house. For the next 14 days it ran two refrigerators, one freezer, all the lights, TV's, computers, and one small window air conditioning unit at my home. It was only turned off every 12 to 14 hours to refuel and check the oil except for two oil changes as recommended by the owners manual every 100 hours, which arrives quickly when you are running it 23+ hours a day. In 14 days I put a little over 322 hours on my Kipor without a single problem what so ever and while everyone else I know was paying $50.00 to $65.00 a day in gasoline to keep their generators running I was paying $18.00 to $20.00 a day thanks to your innovative throttle control system. All I can say is what an amazing quality product you provide ! ! ! It sure made my family's life more comfortable during those 14 days. Well the power grid is back up and I am so impressed with your product I would like to purchase another Kipor Inverter/Generator with the throttle control that runs on diesel in the 3kw to 5kw range. Please let me know if you have that available.
